Nordicandia

I have over 8000 hours in this game, and it honestly hurts to write this. About a year ago, Nordicandia was acquired by a company called Garden of Dreams and since then, the game has been completely abandoned. No meaningful updates, no new content, and bugs that existed before the acquisition are still there today. When I say no content, I mean it. The “updates” we’ve gotten are things like adding a random statue in town or a new skin for a trash mob. That’s it. Nothing that actually improves gameplay or moves the game forward. What’s even worse is how the community has been treated. Long-time players, the ones who actually cared about the game, have been banned from the Discord just for speaking up. The developers don’t communicate, don’t respond, and don’t seem to care at all. This used to be a game I loved and invested thousands of hours into. Now it just feels like a dead project being milked with zero effort. Stay far away from this game.

This game was amazing. But when sold to a new developer they abandoned it almost instantly and now have shut down the servers. Download only if you want to play alone.

Servers are down and offline mode doesn't seem to work. It seems that as of now the game is unplayable.

At the time of my review (19.05.2026); The game is not linux-compatible AT ALL (Which is a problem considering how unstable Windows is getting) On top of that, it seems to be abandoned or perhaps given to an intern/apprentice to work on. if anything happens at all, it takes absolutely forever.

Can't even connect to the server. Always a good start, when a game doesn't work upon first try lol.
