The game sounds didn´t work for me, even after actually enabling them in the settings. Other than that, the game is fine, although nothing special and it gets boring pretty fast, as you just choose a weapon, clear the room, lose the weapon, repeat. And then you spend the earned gold on some basic stat upgrades after dying, so that its easier next time. At least having a dodge roll or some progression within runs would be nice. Also encountered a bug, where after entering a new room, I couldn´t see or move my character and had to end the run. Decide for yourself.

Well well well. The menu looks fine. Now to the negatives. The balancing is ♥♥♥♥. The walking speed is far to slow and the game lacks any reasonable movement options that actually make movement enjoyable. The soundtrack is nowhere to be found. The game even starts off with the sounds muted in the settings, but even after you pull the sliders all the way to full volume there is still nothing. Hitboxes feel very hard to properly predict and distinguish them from other attacks once they start overlapping and in combination with the slow a.f. movement it's a nightmare and feels almost always out of control once you get hit. The visuals of the game itself do not fit at all with the theme the menu screen went for. Weapon loss after each room does also not feel rewarding as most melee weapons if not from the legendary (e.g. yellow or red colour) almost always end your run immediatly. Also there is a general lack of enemy variety. You have pretty much seen it all after five minutes of gameplay. Also it would be nice to know how much the stat upgrades actually matter. Can't recommend but decide for yourself. P.S. This game was chosen as the second game for this years edition of the steam…
