The atmosphere and music are great, but it's probably the worst translation I've ever seen. Every single sentence sounds unnatural and corny. And I don't think it's all about translation. Many parts of the story sound very immature. Like something a child would write. That being said, if you treat it as an obscure gem of some sorts, it can actually be pretty interesting.

This visual novel wasn't exactly what I expected. The art style seems extremely inconsistent to me, and I didn't feel interested in the characters or story at all. The visual effects are fine for back then (Notch - The Innocent LunA: Eclipsed SinnerS was released in 2012). To be fair, the price is actually ok; I even bought the game on sale, so I can't complain about this. But if you are looking for some horror mystery stuff, I would rather recommend the Higurashi series.

I really tried getting into this. But the translation is stiff, bland, unnatural, and does not make me want to read more. A shame, since I enjoy the art style and UI. I just can't get into it due to the translation. Like this translation is downright SHAMEFUL. Whoever did this, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Дочитал до 3 главы и чет уже поддушивает конкретно так. Читать совершенно не интересно, а всю имеющуюся интригу портит отвратительная и сумбурная постановка сцен. Это дополняется бредовым ворлдбилдингом, так как нам с самого начала говорят что в городе нет полиции (шта?), поэтому герой решает сам расследовать убийства девушек, которые уже происходят даже на городских улицах. При этом на артах видно современный провинциальный азиатский город. Вообще, даже одной этой нелогичной детали хватает чтобы вынести неутешительный приговор данной новелле. Автору просто не нужна была полиция в его произведении и он ее вычеркнул как незначительную мелочь))) Плевать на логику, последовательность и согласованность. Он мог бы хоть в рамках произведения привнести логики, например жители из-за убийств начали собирать народную милицию и патрулировать улицы и окрестности. Но этого конечно же нет, ведь это помешает ему рассказать ту историю, что он хочет. К тому же мы знаем страны, где нет полиции, и там точно нет таких спокойных городов, как в данной новелле. Второй эпизод кончается тем, что герой, не вооружившись и не подготовившись, решил отправиться в лес расследовать убийство своей подруги. При том…

The translation absolutely killed the experience for me, which is a shame because I was generally enjoying the story and thought the soundtrack was beautiful as well.
