Overall this is a unique autobattler and definately fun with the link mechanic that lets you create new powerful units by placing specific cards in a specific way. There are alot of possible combinations and contentwise it seems like there is a good amount of cards in here - since every new grimoire has i think a whole new set to play with and currently there are 5 available. What i dont like is the 60 fps lock which makes the gameplay feel unsmooth! And sometimes the game can be a bit clunky. Recommended for fans of the genre and cool looking cards!2 found this helpful
A roguelike card game where you place nine cards and battle enemies in auto-battles. There are an enormous number of possible combos and synergies, making it incredibly fun to come up with different strategies. One of the highlights is that multiple cards can link together in specific layouts to gain powerful bonuses. Planning strategies to defeat overwhelmingly strong enemies is especially engaging. There are many card links, and enjoying the artwork that appears when cards are linked is another big appeal. With six different decks available to play, the game offers plenty of content and is highly recommended.1 found this helpful

Fun game! Exploring card links in each grimoire is satisfying.
Surprised this game got only around 40 reviews. I never review any game but gotta help out so people don't miss out on this. It's not a masterpiece by any means, the game even looks kinda ugly because of the AI art but damn it is fun. It's a roguelite auto-battler similar to TFT on that side where you build a board with monster cards and try to achieve 10 wins (or more for extra difficulty). It's a bit rough in the edges sometimes (some +10 bosses are crazy hard if you don't go with an specific set up for example) but for the price point it's a great deal.
Intriguing new card game I almost rejected- my bad; I skimmed the tutorial and it's unusual enough that it's not immediately intuitive. The actual battling is automatic & chaotic. Novems is all about evolving cards and trying to maximise synergy & position in limited space. It's addictive.
