Office No.41: Prototype Edition

SHAMEFUL!!! The developers have the audacity... To put a "prototype" up on Steam and ask for money. When you want people to play your prototype, you PAY THEM to do it. xD Not the other way around! Atleast "Early Access" promises you the full game if the devs ever finish the game... Here you still need to buy the released version. ':D It's a scam... That's the only thing to call it. I have NEVER.... EVER... in my years of being a game developer, heard the idea of a "Protoype Edition". It is ethically wrong on so many levels. Just to give a rough idea: Prototype (you pay others to game test) -------------------------------------------------Demo (free)---Full release (full price) I'm literally baffled that this exists... ':D I HOPE this doesn't become a trend hehe... THE GAME ITSELF Since the dev is actually CHARGING MONEY for a "prototype"... I will review this as an actual released product. Since that is WHAT IT IS when you charge money for it. It took me 20min to get the game started because everything fell apart when I tried changing the resolution. the game is full of glitches and its not fun to play at all, i just skipped a part of the game by simply going to the main menu,

I'm not the type of guy who gives a good, honest review but here it is: This horror game provides backstories explained through notes, recorders, and flashbacks similar to Amnesia. When playing the game, it gives some explanations how the school drifted off, and the MC's motivations that lead them there. Since it's only Act 1, there is more potential to explain in another chapter/acts. This game also have voice actors, and it felt genuine which means they played their role very well. The enemy/monster is one of those generic chasers, however it does have a mechanic [spoiler]that makes him teleport infront of you without warning[/spoiler] which is completely unfair and you have almost no chance of avoiding that. You can either use stealth (which is more effective since it doesn't use ears), or risk getting chased with its mechanic. Now focusing more on the issues, this game suffers a syndrome of having invisible walls scattered in areas which breaks the immersion of the game. Letting the player know that door is locked instead of using invisible wall would've been better and placed in convenient areas. Great for a protoype! It's a little unpolished but I'm excited to see what the game turns into with more time. I think the price is very fair for this game. Really looking forward to what comes next!

El juedo cumple su promesa de dar MIEDO desde que abres el juego encuentras que no puedes modificar la sensibilidad, ni el audio, ni controles, creo que nada puedes modificar desde el principio... Desde ahi agarrate porque da miedo haber perdido $40 pesos que nunca volveran, mejor comprense 1 hershey, un bubalo, un tornillo sin pizza, skitles, maruchan, condon, gansito y una coca... Its a good idea of a game but it is boring and unclear what the goal of the game is.
