As a surgery intern you must survive the week whilst helping the many characters overcome their various problems. Oh so lucky! Doctor is a hospital surgery/life simulation, which deals with many issues such as job loss, betrayal, friendship, shyness.

Quite a strange dating and management RPG sim VN. one one hand, you buy flowers for cute girls - but on the other, you have to do surgery on ruptured spleens. It's definitely worth a laugh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fL7rMXGc83I

This is essentially a dating sim game. You're a medical intern that has to go around and make friends or lovers around the hospital. There are a bunch of people you can interact with. I use the term interact loosely, as your options are to initiate conversations or buy presents. The game opens up as you progress, so there are a few more options available, but this is not a very deep game. There are a few mini-games to play to help you earn experience and money. The money is used to buy things to enhance your relationship with the people around the hospital. The writing is decent and the character art is pretty slick looking. I like the 3D effect that's used for the character avatars. Also, the game runs pretty smooth; although there's really not a lot going on visually to tax your CPU. On the negative side, the graphics are pretty bland. The hospital looks like...a hospital, but even more depressing. You're basically navigating bland looking hallways to get to each event. The mini-games are fairly simple and this game would have been helped by more variety or complexity. Overall, if you're into these kinds of games, it's not a bad purchase. Cute animation and soapy storyline, just what you might want to pass the time. The surgical gameplay is unforgiving, but after a while becomes a snap. Good fun. :)
