The combat is fun, getting to use all of the straw hats various abilities is fun. The most disapointing part i would say is one piece has thousands of amazing characters... yet this game is 90% generic NPCs to fill out all of the side quests, towns and fodder enemies for the bounty system. Each main area grabs 2 maybe 3 real characters to be involved from the story arcs...when it could have easily made the game so much better if they had more of the fantastic characters that belong in those story arcs. last complaint - the outfit system is locked behind dlcs... very lame not to be able to see their outfits update based on what story arc you are in.1 found this helpful

this has worse pacing than one piece and I say that as a big fan of one piece. the novelty of it being a one piece game is nice but I'm 20 hours in AND I'M ON CHAPTER 3. NOTHING HAPPENS. LET ME OUT
For One Piece Fans it is a great game to reimagine and experience some of the one piece story highlights, it also could be fully canon i only know Oda worked on some desighns, and could be treated as it's own Ark between Doflamingo and the Zou Ark. The Battles are a bit too stretched out, if you make use of all the mechanics available.
tried to enjoy this game but its turn based and uses save points
This game is a great way to relive the first four arcs that the crew of One Piece experienced after arriving in the Grand Line. While there are definitely spoilers for those who have never read or watched One Piece, the game experience makes it all worth it. The storyline as you progress is amazing and the ability of having an open world where you can complete side quests and achievements before going further with the main story is a great bonus.
