I'm really upset i put this much time into the game before i realized there is no gearing progression until after the game has been beaten. you keep you starting weapons until the end of the game cause you will NEVER get anything better until you beat the game. some character can have better but the main ones like Kirito and some of the other main ones dont. what is the point of and RPG if i cant get better weapons until the end of the game?!? i haven't even completed the game i only found this out cause after reaching the final map one the west side i looked it up and that's how i found out. i rage quit after that. now I'm never playing a SAO game again cause they are not even a proper RPGs with a locking gearing system.

well this game fights head to head with starfield for loading screen simulator! Unbearable.

Pretty fun game, daily tickets to roll for random cosmetics is cool. good "replay" of the Underworld Arc of SAO if you want to or you can choose to skip it and begin your own adventure. the combat system is very simple and easy to learn but still fun. there are some minor set backs that could be good if changed such as being able to mark quest locations on the map or have better guidance to those quest. my biggest down side to the game is honestly just the keyboard button default layout is hard to learn and maybe the fact that there are a million cut scenes(can be skipped) but other than that a simple fun RPG based on a great anime. Would recommend buy on sale as i did.

great SAO games for playing with friends we had alot of fun on the ps5 version and got the steam version as well
