About Orbi Universo
Orbi Universo is a strategy/simulation game in which you manage your civilization with an abstract and complex node system and you make your society evolve through different periods, from cavemen to the Modern Era.
A Civilization encapsulated
Your civilization is defined by nodes, they are the abstract representation of what your civilization is. These nodes interact with each other and it's up to the player to add new ones or increase the importance of the already present one to evolve technologically or to choose a cultural and political path.
Choose the path of your people
Choose where you start and lead a civilization through time from their first days as a primal hunter-gatherer tribe to a glorious empire. But all civilizations have a unique feature that make their personality, so ride as Horde, rule as Emperor or lead as a Theocracy, the experimentation is never over!
Adapt to troubles
Experimentation can end in a nip in the bud due to natural disasters, envious neighbour or bloodthirsty barbarians! You need to reconsider your strategy with each new event and era.
Replay History
More than 30 challenges recreating historical settings like the Fall of Rome, the Sengoku Jidai or the French Revolution. This allows you to discover new ways of playing the game as well as some tough challenges for veteran players.
Moddable Experience
The structure of the game was designed to ease the creation and implementation of mods and can be expanded by you and the community at any moment!

What Steam players say

Players appreciate the game's core concept as a detailed civilization management sim with engaging mechanics, particularly praising its smooth early gameplay and replayability appeal. However, the game suffers from severe balance issues starting in the feudal era onwards, with particularly problematic mechanics like catastrophic population loss from pollution and warfare that lack clear warning or explanation, and repetitive late-game events that become frustrating rather than challenging. While the game is good for a casual week of play, these balancing problems and poor feedback systems sign
this game starts to fall apart at the the feudal era and just goes downhill from there. I am at the industrial era and i think i need to just stop playing. Because I just went from 1200 population to 300 in a single war. a war that i was WINNG with, what i thought, were relatively few losses. SEVENTY FIVE FING PERCENT OF MY POPULATION should not have died in a war THAT I WAS WINNING EASILY. So I look into it. it wasn't actually the war. My HANDFUL of factories and coal plants killed 75% of my population through POLLUTION. This was EARLY EARLY industrial era. I was just getting up and running. That is even more insane than them all dying in war. F this game. The balance from the feudal era onwards is absolutely trash. I'm done.2 found this helpful
save and load system is terrible.
Very Fun game. Very different from anything I have seen before. Highly recommend trying it out.
I didnt like it at all
Anyone who has played the Democracy series will understand the platform for this game. This is a game of numbers and outputs, so more for the project managers out there. The game plays smoothly all the way through to space age for me and I found it to be fun. The only negatives are that after one playthrough you can have your winning formula sorted and the different starting cultures only vary in resource availability, so your winning formula will work the same with all of them. It's a fun management game for a low price that will keep you amused for a week or so.
Very nice concept. After completing a game, you know you want to start another
