I played this game for about an hour in total. I have to say, the idea of making a game out of three words is cool, but the sound it makes when you click on a word annoys me. Since it's free, it's okay, but was it worth the time? I would say... no.

Ord. is a remarkably stripped-down interpretation of interactive fiction that demonstrates how a game can create adventure, humor, tension, and meaningful choices with an almost comically small amount of text. Developed by Mujo Games and Stuffed Wombat and published by Mujo Games, it revolves around tiny text adventures in which situations and consequences are communicated using extremely concise phrases. Instead of filling the screen with lengthy descriptions or complicated menus, the experience asks players to interpret a few carefully chosen words and decide how to proceed. The result feels like a combination of classic interactive fiction, a choose-your-own-adventure book, and a minimalist narrative experiment. The defining idea is storytelling through extremely short pieces of language. A situation appears, the player makes a choice, and another brief piece of information reveals what happens next. The simplicity is the entire point, and it makes the game feel more like an interactive collection of tiny ideas than a conventional adventure. What I like most is how much the game manages to do with so little. A handful of words can establish a situation, create a joke or make me curious about what happens next. I have to use my imagination to fill in the gaps, and that makes some of the stories surprisingly memorable despite their extremely limited presentation. The experimentation with language is probably the game's biggest strength. Some scenarios are funny, some are strange and others can take an unexpectedly dark turn.
