For eternity The Keeper has used the power of The Eternal Sands to preserve the chronological order and ensure time is allowed to flow freely, but after countless epochs Greenwich the Mean Time-Witch has grown weary of merely keeping the infinite history of creation. She's stolen The Eternal Sands and used its power to construct a clockwork army that now threatens to destroy time itself.

Use The Keeper's ability to slow time to weave through impossible waves of cogs; then blast them with timesand to tock some sense into those ticked off timepieces. Can you push far enough through the 4th Dimension's ever changing floors to defeat Greenwich and reclaim The Eternal Sands?

"Overclocked: The Aclockalypse" is an unusual isometric 2D contentless shoot 'em up (twin stick style) where you shoot waves of enemies in a weird clock themed world. Why is it clock themed? Nobody knows. Just because all the good ideas for video games are taken doesn't mean you have to resort using to bad ideas. What do you do in the game? Simple wave survival shooting with no meaningful progression, and no meaningful score attack either, leaving us all scratching our heads as to why any one would want to play this. On the topic of visuals, the weak looking 2D retro assets seem like they'd be more at home in a browser game or a mobile app. 3D graphics accelerators hit the mainstream of PC gaming in the mid 1990's with cards like the ATI Rage and Voodoo3D, there's no excuse for such poor 2D graphics in 2025. That alone is enough to disqualify this for recommendation. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that'…1 found this helpful
