PARKET Evolution (Beta)

Terribly garbage 3D platformer with: -Broken menu -Only control/toggle in the option menu is for volume -Locked fullscreen and 60FPS -Imprecise/Floaty controls -Ugly and lazy level design -Player and platforms have poorly defined edges/collision -There are no shaders/shadows Overall it is unoriginal, unimaginative, and unfun

"PARKET Evolution (Beta)" is a basic tech demo where someone was mucking around with Unity and made a basic platformer with some "Borrowed" asset for the main character, a few blocks, and basically nothing else. This is the kind of thing that really explains well why Valve should implement some quality control for Steam Direct. This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception.
