Sort of pretty, although the animation work is rigid. The puzzle rooms are OK, but that's all the game is between long stretches of boring exploration, and there's so much WAITING for platforms and ability refreshes and full-room resets if you fall into the void. The big demon you're feeding is the coolest part of the game, very mysterious and compelling. But there's a lot of game stretched out ahead of me and very little fun to be found, so I'm quitting in the third area. Looks like I'm not alone, as only something like 15% of players have made it this far. My suggestion for the devs is to narrow your ambition on your next project. If this game were 3 dense areas with a better animated protagonist, I think the vision would shine a lot brighter.5 found this helpful
A beautiful game that feels new yet nostalgic at the same time. It touches on some heavy topics but in an accessible way that my 5 year old son was able to still enjoy while watching me play. It touches on themes of loss, regret, consequences and fate. It is very heartfelt and the music is amazing. Tonally it lands somewhere between Shadow of the Colossus and Breath of the Wild with an emphasis on exploration and puzzles. Quite an achievement for such a small team. I highly recommend it.2 found this helpful
What a gem! It is not a long game but each second was enjoyable. The music is amazing, and the visual aspect is so different to other games but still impressive. The story was compelling and you feel and suffer with the protagonist along their ride. The camera can be a bit tricky sometimes but gameplay was fun enough, with skills being unlocked and lots to discover. It reminded me a lot of games such as Spirit of the North or even ICO. If you tried those ones and liked them, do not miss this one. Now I need to find the OST, such a beauty.2 found this helpful
