Partum Artifex is mainly a puzzle game with an emphasis on story and atmosphere. Throughout the game, you'll be challenged with solving puzzles directly connected to the twisted works and mind of a serial killer. In order to progress you need to put yourself in the killer's shoes, and think like him in order to solve the puzzles. Willingly or not, he wants you to help him finish his magnum opus.By exploration, reading, taking notes, finding items and paying attention to the environment, you'll be able to piece together what happened in this eerie house and what the serial killer is trying to achieve with it. The more you dive into the mind of the killer, the more you'll discover things that are better off being hidden away.
Sometimes the truth is better left shrouded in ignorance.

Partum Artifex is a first-person psychological horror puzzle game set in a quiet, unsettling house filled with strange mechanisms and secrets. The focus is on exploration, environmental puzzles, and slowly uncovering what’s really going on rather than on direct threats. I loved this one as well. The atmosphere is excellent, the puzzles are satisfying without being frustrating, and the game does a great job of creating tension through sound, lighting, and silence. It feels calm and creepy at the same time, rewarding curiosity and attention to detail. It’s the kind of experience that pulls you in gently, then leaves you feeling uneasy long after you’re done exploring.
Atmospheric and puzzle oriented, and best of all didn't rely on jumpscares.
HONESTLY, PLAY IT
The game is high quality for it's value. The Devs are both super chill and awesome. I streamed this game after getting an access code for the game and the Music Dev/Voice actor (Fredrick) hung out in my stream for nearly the whole time and it was so fun and he gave fun facts on the making of the sounds in the game. I ended up enjoying the game so much I bought the game for a couple of my friends.
