Paws Per Minute is a very barebone typing game. You have 3 choices of fonts, 3 choices of difficulties and 3 different text colors... that is it. There is one single type of test, a sixty seconds typing test with random words. The game has no other features and from what I could find, you can't even move the widget. I personally do not enjoy typing at the very bottom of my screen. Speaking about the difficulty, I type comfortably at 120-140 WPM with everyday texts and on typing tests websites, I can reach upwards of 170 WPM. For some reason, after trying for 45 minutes, it is impossible for me to keep a rating over 115-118~ WPM, because of four things: •Considering the limited fonts, some of the random words are too similar and with only 5 words on screen at a time I confuse them (though, through, thought, tough, trough) •It seems like typos are harshly penalized, seeing my stable 125 WPM going down to 105 or 110 in the middle of a test because I got 1 letter wrong, which caused 4-5 typos in a row and the game hates this. •My third point is backed by someone on Steam Discussions: it does really feel like my inputs doesn't always register after a while, which causes the typos, …
