A shame from past
I really tried to love this game back in past when i had a 2-cd edition of this RTS. First Perimeter was a total blast for RTS gaming - a nice mix and match of rts and sort of tactical puzzle first game was my top-fav rts back in days . The second is....complicated. It's just a strategy, covered with nice layer of very overcomplex lore (Perimeter's world quite difficult to grasp place tbh). But....there nothing much left to love There only two factions that barely distinct one from another, graphics and music are decent - mix of quite psychodelic worlds and maps and pretty decent unit models but story is lack of...anything. There many things from Perimeter what were making "Perimeter" a Game is now gone. If you don't know how first game look like and you just want a rollercoaster of old-yet-fancy graphics, dull gameplay and overcomplex story that smell like sci-fi books from 60's - you can give Perimeter 2 a chance to shine but not for long. For players who knew a good taste of RTS , tactics and depth of world and gameplay this game is just mocking of it's more favorable precussor. Expect no patches, no mods, and dull experience. I wish i could recommend…

tts of this text https://youtu.be/1a3-Yf8oit4 This is not a recommendation. This is not a positive review. If you like perimeter game —this game is not. If you like univang lore — this game is not. It's not a good game. But by itself as an objective product at least it works on WinX, it's short, and it's completable. As an icing on top it is not even hateable enough. The steam release doesn't have the original language so instead i just installed the disk version and patched it to 1.01 The studio was doing one-off unique games all set in the same mindverse, while working for an AAA publishers with bug budgets. That model was destroyed by the 2008 yankee crisis, but the studio didn't live long enough to find out. The lead has left to never do a good a game ever again. The remaining chunk of the team decided to just milk their recent project, the giant hit Perimetr. First they wrote a fan-fiction add-on which nevertheless has real gameplay. Then they continued their RTS spree with Maelstrom and Perimetr 2. You can't even imagine the speed with which they went from being the hottest developer to being unwanted and unneeded. Perimeter is very stylized to be sterile, as an opposite…

No, I dont think the game is worth $15. I think its less valuable than a garbage bag filled with $15 worth of used tissue paper.
