Pixel To The West

Pixel to the West seems to be a remake of the developer’s other game [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/385220/Pulut_Adventure/]Pulut Adventure[/url], but now in a 3D world. Unfortunately, it suffers from many of the same problems. The biggest being there is no clear direction or innovation. The game appears to be made from the [url=https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/santa-claus-is-coming-to-town-63497]Santa Claus Is Coming to Town Unity Asset Template[/url] - being a demo game to showcase the Moenen-Voxel-Collection. That’s how the game feels too. There are random enemy assets spawning all over the place. From bunny rabbits to cows and other livestock they all attack you for no apparent reason. Enemies will spawn in walls and clip through floors. Although there is a story this time, it’s just some fragmented dialog between the main character and the bosses encountered. The bosses are just as random as the other enemies, ranging from a Yeti to an octopus and even a golden Buddha. They just proportionally larger than the other enemies and walk back and forth with a visually large health bar, but are brainless and easy to defeat by just running right up to…

Unity asset flip... Made me laugh for 49 cents, at full price it would be a refund request. Cannot invert mouse Y axis. Not recommended.

Pixel To The West is a compact indie action-adventure RPG that takes inspiration from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West and turns its mythology into a colorful 3D journey centered on the Monkey King. Developed by yayapipi and published by Yayapipi Studio, the game was released in 2018 and combines action, exploration, light RPG progression, magic, transformations, and creature summoning. Rather than simply reproducing the familiar tale, it introduces an unusual dimensional accident in which the characters are pulled from a 2D pixel world into a three-dimensional realm. The transition scatters the Monkey King's magical powers across different locations, leaving him to recover his abilities while searching for and rescuing his master. This premise gives the adventure a straightforward but effective reason for character progression. The Monkey King begins without his complete supernatural arsenal, so exploring the various worlds becomes closely connected to recovering magic and discovering treasure. 8/10 (Fun) "This game has a lot of gameplay and zones it is a 3D adventure game and there are minor bugs witch can be fixed but out of all I liked it :)" Couple bugs nothing to major that couldnt be fixed. I tested this on a uhd 630 intergrated card I got 60 fps :).
