Is the Ensh*ttification of everything around you wigging you out, resulting in much distress and sadness?  Would you breathe a massive sigh of relief if you could do something fun for the sake of fun, and for absolutely no other reason, for like 5 freaking minutes?  Dear Friend, there is a game for you.Planet Arcade is an adventure game in the style of a retro RPG.  It's a love letter to classic PC adventure games, minus the punishing obscurity, plus cuteness.  In place of traditional battles, key plot points are advanced through light-hearted (and often pointless) minigames, some of which are stylistic tributes to classic arcade games, some of which are essentially fever dreams.  As a game that breaks a lot of rules, genre and otherwise, it pretty much has to be played to be understood.If you get all worked up about mega-blockbuster titles with AAA graphics that are loaded with micro-transactions and can only be played on space-age, top-of-the-line machinery, and, conversely, you hate fun, retro-inspired games made by regular old humans which tug on your millennial heartstrings and can be played on a toaster,* look elsewhere.  Planet Arcade is likely not your deal.  (Nothing is everyone's.)If, however, you happen to LOVE the idea of a lo-fi game by an indie dev about friendship, not being a dick, and building a new, awesome world in the face of unprecedented destruction,try Planet Arcade.You might even have fun!Imagine that.Love,Kid Chemical(Amber Mitchell)TLDR, This game is NOT for you if you LOVE:-boring sh*t-lame sh*t-sh*t that isn't funny-being a dick-remaining stuck forever in broken paradigms-super fancy sh*t*game can not actually be played on toaster
