About Planetiles

Planetiles is a serene city builder with roguelike elements. Create natural habitats on remote planets as you satisfy quests and earn bonuses with strategically placed ecosystems.

Craft habitats on varying planets sizes with strategic tile placement that earns you bonuses and unlockables, such as tile skins and customization options. Shaping a forest consisting of a specified number of fields or constructing a distinct feature like an oasis will give you different benefits depending on your quests and game progression.

As the biomes you cultivate grow, so do your resources to build! Increase your reserve of tiles by completing missions that replenish your supplies so you can continue to expand across the worlds you shape through your choices.

The landscape reacts to your choices. Turn a few scraggly trees into a lush forest and create distinct biomes by placing tiles to satisfy quests and activate power ups. Three different planet sizes and no endgame mean you can move between planets and build and manipulate biomes to your heart’s desire.

Uncover special structures through your tile placement choices. These unique features allow for special actions, such as shuffling the next shapes or placing a unique object on the planet.

A nice little puzzle game. Try to fill up a planet using tetris-like tiles. Complete goals to get more tile sets. Matching tiles give points. Specific 3x3 sets add facilities that will aid you during a run. There's also events during a run that give both positive aqnd negate effects. And there's a bit of meta-progression. It's good. Can be fun if you like tile based puzzles. If you're a die-hard fan of these types of games, you'll probably like it very much. There's a leaderboard. Not sure if that ever resets though. For me it was a one time thing. Got screwed over by RNG too many times, especially on the last few maps. Good or great, depending on your taste.1 found this helpful
English Planetiles is a cozy and relaxing game that I played for a short time. It plays a lot like Tetris but instead of just clearing lines you are placing different tiles to build and shape little planets. It is a very chill experience where you do not have to stress too much and can just relax while fitting the pieces together. It was a short but sweet experience for me and it is definitely a decent game. If you want a cozy puzzle game to unwind and clear your head it is definitely not bad at all.
Very fun, and fairly relaxing too. I do have some things about the game that annoy me immensely mostly around the lack of an "information/help/tips" section. Some parts of the game you're expected to just figure out or remember what exactly the wording was and that's NOT very accessible. But for the most part I do really recommend this game because it's pretty, (usually) relaxing and also has a good amount of re-playability. I feel like it's good value!
What seemed like a relaxing and simple game turned into a very enjoyable experience trying to find the right combos and mastering placement. Game has a surprising amount of depth to it, and you can choose to play in so many ways like focusing on missions, upgrades, avoiding risk at the cost of upgrades and all of them have valid cases to use them based on what playstyle works for you. I did try quite a few different ways myself, but I ended up sticking with the ability to double adjacent squares (and lowering mission points) because I could never keep up with the missions after a certain point. The fact that you can play in so many different ways is great, and the music was perfect and somehow never got old despite hearing it so much over the hours I played. The game DID give me the final achievement for every goal before I had actually completed every goal. but I guess I had all but one on most of them so you only need to get 2/3 extra goals for each area? Not important unless you're going for the achievements, but worth noting at least. Highly recommend this game, it presents itself as a cozy game but becomes much more when you dig deeper into it.
chilling
I get to both trigger my OCD and quell it by flexing my Tetris skills. Multitasking at its finest.
