About Cosmotiles
Cosmotiles turns planet terraforming experience into a minimalist strategy game. It offers a simple game mechanic. At the same time, provides enough depth for challenging and rewarding experience for seekers. You have to place blocks on planet. A block is a group of tiles with a same biome. Placing a block is scored based on surrounding biomes in non linear fashion! One more tile will increase score significantly with number of tiles. At a time you will get certain choices of blocks to pick few. Find sequence of block placement to maximize score for current shuffle of blocks or take a risk to increase score for next shuffle of blocks.
Once you score enough points, a new land expansion is unlocked to continue terraforming. However, if you run out of empty tiles to place blocks, the game ends. This is the time when you check your score on the leaderboard and start again.
Each planet comes with own puzzle with varying land mass, shuffle sizes and biome types. Planets are generated every start to provide new experience.

The game is very cozy and gets you right into the puzzle world (no pun intended), would recomment 9/10 for a cozy chill play session, it works in steamdeck, but i wish the dev supports touch screen controls, need to some custom mapping to make it seemless in steamdeck (this is why its 9), but would recommend the game just for the cozy vibes, the game feels right fit for steam deck sadly it needs mouse for smooth gameplay right now !!2 found this helpful
One of the most interesting games I played recently. I played some terraforming games similar to this, but this one tops them all. It has a very cute vibe with a competitive twist. Really loved playing this title. Would recommend strongly.2 found this helpful
Very cozy, very balanced. An optimizer-oriented puzzle. Probably scratches the same kind of brain itch that Sudoku puzzles do. You have to plan a little ahead using a short set of known options.2 found this helpful
This game was wonderful! It struck a great balance between being challenging and relaxing, never feeling stressful or unpleasant. The overall experience was calm and enjoyable, and I had a lot of fun working toward all the achievements and climbing the leaderboards for a higher score. The only thing I’d love to see improved in the future is a small adjustment to the outline colors. At times, it was a bit difficult to tell whether I was matching green or gray.2 found this helpful
Pleasurable planet placement puzzle It is a simple yet effective tile placement puzzle game. There are a good amount of planet archtypes to check out and once a run is done you get to see how ♥♥♥♥♥ you are at the game vs people around the planet. I recommend this if you like tile puzzles and space.1 found this helpful
