About Porpetha

We are game developers from Brazil
Hello everyone, we are creating an immersive game set in the time of the Black Death.

The player will have to solve puzzles, run from enemies, destroy parts of the scenario to progress in the game. The main thing in the game is to try to generate new emotions and make the Player immersed in this medieval environment and with a dangerous disease spreading.
The game tries to show what a supposed onset of the disease would be like in a gamified way, placing it as supernatural facts.

Death or objects related to it are just information without eschatology.

The content already created is related to the onset of the disease.

The character's personal goal is to try to find a cure for his child who will get sick in the game.

The protagonist needs to get the cure so that this disease stops and does not spread further.

Now and again I like to try out new games from new indie devs to show my support in the effort they've put into a game. So to be constructive I'm going to start with the good points: - The music is probably the best part of the game, it shines as one of the devs strong points. - The Atmosphere fits well the ambient music, as it's based in a winter environment it comes across as bleak and slightly ethereal. - The zooming in and out with the camera is definitely a big plus I wish more games had this feature as it gives you an overall view of where you are. Now for the parts that need to be fixed or require improvement: - The interactions are awkward and flat out broken, when I get into the mine and get near the cart it says press R but nothing happens, therefore I am unable to progress any further. Also R is not in the controls tutorial, it says E to interact but that does nothing either. This is why I'm giving this game a negative review. - The camera motion shifts periodically and can be quite jarring when transitioning to certain different scenes. It should really be a smooth transition. - This is more a minor point but I understand the devs are from Brazil, please make sure …
