About Powerjackers - VR Superhero Battle Royale

Powerjackers - VR Superhero Battle Royale is a multiplayer first-person shooter, where you start with one 'travel' superpower, and one 'miscellaneous' superpower, and attempt to be the last man (or woman) standing, as you fly, web-sling, or speed-run through the city. As you kill your opponents, you will gain any superpowers they had already gained.

Feel the freedom of going anywhere in the city with web-slinging and flight.

As the game is also VR enabled, it might make it easier to transfer the superpowers to your dreams at night, if you are anything like me.

Play either against bots on your own computer, or against real people via LAN or the internet.

As well as Battle Royale mode, there is also a Deathmatch mode where you attempt to get more kills than anyone else in a 10 minute match.

Host your own dedicated server, or use peer-to-peer from your own PC.

I think you can tell that just by looking at the store page video. It's a VR BR with Super Hero powers. It's a cool concept. However, the execution of the concept is pretty barebones. The game feels like an alpha demo versus a real MP game. You do have a web-sling ability, you can fly, you can use a radar power to detect other players that aren't invisible, & you also have an invisibility ability. You have handguns, snipers, ARs, & bazookas laying around the city map. There is only the one small city map that looks very vanilla. Guns have limited ammo, no reloads - simply find a new weapon when you're out. You can choose Battle Royale or Deatchmatch mode. You can choose to go against bots. You can choose solo, duo, or squads. You can turn on friendly fire. The visuals are ugly. The sounds are almost non-existent, except for the sound of a random gun going off in the distance. Gameplay is very basic. Multiplayer is pretty much DOA. The menu & UI are ugly as hell. There's very little I can offer in way of positive remarks abou…
