As the guider of the former ancestors, you revived and arrived. In the name of Star Envoy, you leave for the Human camp, and lead the warriors of different clans with talents and abilities to find the truth of history and disaster...

Horrible translations or the lack of actual text that maybe I could decipher to get the meaning. Some pages in the village purchasing part lacks any kind of explanations. The gameplay itself is OK. It's a tactic game with variety of units although you can only move and attack. Everything unique only comes in passives. You can stack 5 passives per character in each chapter which is 3 stages each with about 4-8 fights each. It gets old fast since it lacks any story and it just puts you on a map surrounded by enemies and you just keep repeating these over and over without much changes in tactics except hit the enemy when you can while trying to not step in squares that enemy can reach you. There is not much more than that. I have played 3 chapters so far and it really drags. Need to get proper translation job at least for me to change this review to positive.

Nice concept but very poor translation and sadistic bosses. Even the most easy option felt unfair in the final boss.

Prime of Flames is a tactical roguelike RPG that is easy to play (minimal clicks) with interesting graphics and engaging skills to choose from at level up. The translation is atrocious, but you can figure out the mechanics of everything. It gets a little repetitive without a real story (or at least one that I can make sense of), but I like it.

Recommended for fans of turn-based tactics. Story is lacking but roguelike progression and a variety of units keeps the battles interesting. Bosses are gimmicky so can feel unfair but unlike many roguelikes you can retry battles or go level up without having to start a run over entirely. Plus there are 3 different factions with their own campaigns.

Insanely time consuming but definitely pays out. The game provides an very extensive choice of characters and thus shapes every run into something unique, RNG initially feels like it plays a heavy role but as you experience more and more runs it feels relatively smooth even on the hardest difficulty. The starter item choices does help shape the initial early game but doesn't make it feel entirely reliant on it. The translation is just right to understand majority of the story with just a few sentences feeling off. Overall it was a wonderful game with just over 80 hours completion time and I doubt I'd fine a similar experience anytime soon.
