About Project Manager (Initiation)

If you want to experience what it's like to be a Project Manager, or test your skills as one, this game is for you. Set in a large corporation, you're given the opportunity to lead your first project.Project Manager (Initiation) begins by selecting a character from among predefined Project Managers with varying levels of experience (which also indicates the game's difficulty level). As a newcomer to the company, you'll first need to familiarize yourself with the layout of the rooms and locate key people in the office building with whom you'll collaborate. Your ability to navigate the company will largely determine the success of your time-based tasks.Next, you'll be tasked with collecting key data necessary to create the first project document, the Project Charter. This task is time-limited, depending on the difficulty level of your chosen character. If your chosen character has limited experience (Easy), you don't have to worry about time, but on Hard, there's no time for bad decisions. Completing this series of tasks will also grant you your first promotion on the PM career path. After confirming the project launch with your supervisor, you have a moment to select KickOff materials (you must select the correct set of tasks with a limited number of attempts) and complete training sessions. One training session is mandatory, but completing more will earn you additional experience points and knowledge of new tools.During the game, you have the opportunity to increase your experience, acquire new skills and tools, but you can only win by achieving the final goal: conducting the KickOff meeting. You must carefully select the participants for this KickOff meeting to ensure that no one is missing the necessary participants, while also omitting any undesirable ones from the invitation.

As one of maybe 5 people who could actually play this game, I sincerely gave it a shot but right away there are many barriers from entry based on the foundation itself. Decoupling movement from the mouse cursor is a must, that's keeping me from being able to actually play the game. The time limit I expected to be more akin to deadlines, but having 3 minutes to find people in a sprawling office without a map is insane. You clip through everything. The voice is obviously artificial, but it feels like Microsoft Speech rather than Elevenlabs or something more natural. Some way to set performance options to keep your PC from going 100% would be very nice, too. I can suspend disbelief with the graphics if the gameplay is present, but the menus and graphics and engine itself are all so crude and hacked-together feeling that I have a hard time believing this is a sincere effort at a game, rather than some sort of joke or bitcoin-mining operation. I would have at least labeled this as Early Access, provided there are attempts at patching down the road. If not, this should sincerely be avoided. I'm going to refund it for now, but I'll keep my eye on it as I find the idea of a Project Mana…

I personally would not recommend Project Manager simulator to anyone I trust or look up to. I bought this game for my nephew thinking it would be a fun game to play during our weekly game sessions. Imagine my surprise when it turns out that this game (which is sold as a fantasy MMORPG about working as a project manager (wizard) for a company (guild) managing a team (raiders)) turns out to just be a normal game about managing a project. My nephew was so overwhelmed with frustration that he put his head through the drywall and the fire department and some local teens had to pull him out. Please let the player go faster than 10 speed

In my view, this game has excellent potential to be fun, engaging, and exciting. I believe that, if more care was taken into consideration for the development of this game, it could serve as a successful on-ramp for new PMs getting into the industry. However, many things must be taken into consideration: - Interactions ought not be distance based -- An input key would be much better "Press E to talk to {name]" for example. - A mini-map should be implemented to provide new players and continuing players with a visual representation of the layout of the office. Especially when trying to play for the first time, trying to internally map the office is exceedingly difficult when under pressure. - The F3 to view Elevator view is bugged and results in the player avatar freely moving about and requires exiting and reentering the game to regain control. - There's no way to turn the music off or adjust sound settings. - The menus are not consistent with opening and closing. In some instances, Esc closes the menu, in others the same button closes the menu, and in others, the same button reopens the menu in layers over the first. The behavior is very inconsistent. - Project Kick-off options n…
