About PULSARI
"Brilliantly tense… addictive and devilishly satisfying."— TheBigBoisNews"..."— press, speechless (we're choosing to read that as a good sign)
The song does not begin until you earn it.
PULSARI is a precision rhythm arcade game about pulling sound out of the dark.At first, there is only a pulse.A rotating nexus hangs in the dark. Beat rings rush toward it from four directions. You strike up, down, left, right — not to follow the music, but to summon it. Every clean hit adds pressure. Every miss tears all apart.Hold the line and the track wakes up beneath your hands. A bass line emerges at combo four. An arpeggio rides on top at sixteen. By combo thirty-two, the song is no longer hidden. It opens fully, filling the dark with rhythm, harmony, and weight.41 tracks. 5 sets. One growing obsession.
The 41 tracks span five sets, from an 80 BPM tutorial through corrupted signal beds, glitch fracture rhythms, ambient drift, and a hardcore finale at 250 BPM where precision turns into instinct. Some tracks hypnotize. Some pull you into a trance state before the BPM jumps and the pattern bites back. They are short enough to replay instantly, long enough to swallow your attention, and sharp enough that “one more run” can become an hour.Built for flow, mastery, and beautiful failure.
PULSARI rewards precision without burying the feeling under noise. The interface is clean. The timing is readable. Perfect hits glow and ring out, with rumble on gamepad. Good hits keep you alive. Misses make the track remember what you did.Four difficulty modes set timing windows from ±70 ms on Easy down to ±20 ms on Ultra. Independent audio and visual offset calibration matches those windows to your hardware. Full controller and Dance Pad support (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro). Keyboard plays on arrows or WASD.English, 日本語, 简体中文. Single-player, progress saves locally.Unlock the void. Wear your mastery.
30 cosmetic variants across five axes — sigil, aura, trail, hit effects, horizon — unlock as you clear sets, chase flawless runs, hold daily streaks, and break combo milestones.Your screen carries what you've cleared. For players who chase the moment after thinking stops.
When the hands move before the mind. When the beat stops coming at you and starts coming through you. That is the state PULSARI is built around.Fill the void. Become the music.PULSARI uses flashing lights, high-contrast converging geometry, and color pulses synced to the beat. Overall great idea, however it will be nicer if there is a customisation option for track speed (how fast the notes go) and how big is the centre circle (how long the notes appear on screen) It is also very annoying that the difficulties are split according to the judgement window, not sure if this is a good idea as this fundamentally changes how the notes feel across difficulties and effectively locks the practice into 1 difficulty.4 found this helpful
Gameplay is all about getting yourself into a rhythm and maintaining it to unlock the whole song. You start with just one layer, the kick, and if you manage to hit enough beats or build a high enough combo, you unlock additional layers. However, if you miss even a single beat, the combo counter resets and you drop back to the kick layer. The game is played by pressing one of four keys when a beat approaches the circle in the middle. You do not need perfect timing to maintain your combo. You can be slightly early or late and still keep it going, although you will not achieve the highest possible score or grade. Score and grade are there mainly for bragging rights on the leaderboards and do not affect progression. Progression to the next song is achieved simply by completing the previous one, but the challenge depends on the mode you choose. In the intended mode, you are allowed only three misses. Exceed that limit and the entire song resets, forcing you to start from the beginning. This mode includes four difficulty settings that affect speed, with the fastest difficulty instantly resetting the song after a single missed beat. In casual mode, on the other hand, you start with the …2 found this helpful
idk gang it's pretty fun, although no matter how many times I do the calibratrion, it never seems to be right.1 found this helpful
It looks simple at first but really hard to master. Great for people who loves rhythm challenges and loves to play something in the trip. I'm currently exploring that game but it feels very catchy, some challenges so far feels too hard, but maybe depends on practise. I generally recommend to try.
the game looks incredibly simple but it is genuinely one of the hardest rhythm games I have played in years. the whole gimmick is that the track builds up as you keep your combo, but if you drop a single note, the music strips away and you are left with just a sad kick drum. On hard difficulty track restarts after one miss the base difficulty is already mean. But when you turn on the rotation timing modifier and the one-miss instant restart, it stops being a music game and becomes straight up survival horror for your fingers. It looks like nothing crazy is happening on the screen but you are sweating bullets trying to keep up really good if you hate yourself and love punishing arcade games 👍
