A Personal Work
Pure Idle was made during a period of deep depression, not as a product, but as a lifeline. When the world felt unreachable, building small systems became the only language left — a way to bring order to something, piece by piece, without pressure from the outside.Pure Idle is that process, transformed into a universe you can shape over many hours. This isn't a game that asks for five minutes a day. It's a long, living system — stars to collect, technologies to research, production chains to build and rebuild, ascensions that reset you forward. The pace shifts: sometimes it hums along on its own, sometimes it demands your full attention. There are a couple of daily quests and a modest offline bonus, but nothing designed to punish you for stepping away.I am a solo developer, and this is a sincere, personal work — made to survive, to focus, and to build something honest in a genre often driven by retention over play.If you enjoy idle games with depth, long progression arcs, and experiences shaped by lived feeling rather than metrics, Pure Idle may become a world you return to for a long time. What Steam players say

Might improve but right now it's very flawed. Here are some issues I have found: - The ascension prestige system is unlocked but a button that's supposed to exist to use it just doesn't appear. - The method to generate "cosmic shards" in the production system costs cosmic shards to make. I don't seem to have any way to acquire those. - The UI is weird. Some fonts are very tiny and others are very large. It's very hard to read some important numbers but if you increase the UI scale then text overlaps each other. - Overall poor documentation or assistance. I have no idea if this is true but it feels like a game designed by or with AI. The design choices are just bizarre. Also, the interface is dark and there's no brightness setting. I see some attempts to improve accessibility but as someone with vision issues I can say that it falls short on that end.3 found this helpful

This is a fun idle game. I enjoy the looping mechanisms and the production minigame. There's lots here to keep me occupied for hours. Well worth the couple bucks it cost me on steam sale. Has the occasional bug, which are addressed by a fairly responsive dev.
