A short but solid enough VN. Cute sprites, charming characters, well crafted backgrounds, and a variety of routes dependent on which actions you take (or more accurately, the order that you take them). With a fair base asking price of $5, I would recommend this title, but there is one aspect of the game that sours the whole thing as an experience for me, that being the 'good' ending. Because during that route [spoiler]you end up befriending the person who started the 'Apawcalypse' and killed the entire school. But it's fine, justified even! The witch was just doing it for revenge on her brother who was murdered. So that means it's A-OK for her to commit magnitudes more murder on 100s of innocent teenagers who happen to share the killers race, because she's also a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ racist. And at the end of the game, there is no regret, no remorse, NOTHING. No admission of wrongdoing whatsoever. It's all left unaddressed while they eat lunch together as friends, despite her being way worse than the original killer. I understand that this game is meant to be light-hearted even with all the gore, but you cannot just expect people to overlook such a massive moral disconnect, especially after the…2 found this helpful
