Puzzle Park (2022) (PC) by Sergey Chibisov (Russian)
Game requires you to roam a 'Unity' statue and fountain park landscape in the hopes to solve the parks puzzles so that you can obtain unlocked stars which in turn will unlock more parts of the park for you to explore and find all 40 puzzles. The puzzles range in difficulty with some puzzles rewarding you with 1 star and others rewarding you with 3 stars. There are several problems with this game… 1. There is no story or lore: Why are we solving these puzzles? This becomes an issue. There is no incentive or reward to do so, other than the puzzle itself. 2. Puzzle Groupings is non-Sensical at times: Puzzle type grouping in the game is all over the place. Change perspective puzzles are randomly placed all over the park. There is one sound puzzle which is simply lumped in a maze puzzle solution selection where it doesn’t fit and feels out of place. 3. Puzzle Laws Contradict each other: Some puzzles require you to fill in the pathing route you took to solve. Others require you to simply input the change of direction points and NOT FILL IN THE PATHING ROUTE. These rules contradict each other an…

The soundtrack is nice and so are some of the puzzles. The overall feel of this game is "rushed" nonetheless. It's unpolished and most certainly not a lot of testing went into it. There's also not a great deal of puzzles in here. Get this game only if you have already played all the good games in this genre.

It is cheap and it is exactly as it's price tag - cheap. While puzzles SEEM to be interesting it is just not comfortable to play.

Tired of FPS games? These puzzle games are a nice relaxing alternative. Work your brain rather than your trigger finger. "Puzzle Park" so far has been tough but not impossible. It's fun to brainstorm and finally hit on that right answer. I still have a ways to go, but hopefully I will succeed! The game is more or less non-linear and its concept is pretty simple: solve a puzzle, you open a cage and get a "star", or multiple "stars". The goal is to get all of the stars. The game saves automatically every time you get a star (though when you quit the game and come back in, you always start at the original entrance.) One piece of advice, be sure not hit "New Game" instead of "Continue" when logging back in for a session (like I accidentally did), cuz all of your previous progress is lost forever and you have to do everything all over again.

I enjoy these type of puzzle games and this one did not disappoint. Each puzzle area was in close proximity to each other eliminating a lot of running around. The puzzles themselves were often easy but mostly challenging. I don't understand the negative reviews indicating no rhyme or reason for solutions. DAH! That's why they call them puzzles. Anyway, the environments were pleasing on the eyes as well. I will play this again in due time.
