Radiant One is art. It makes you think about the meaning of human existence in today's rapidly changing world.
One day, trying to escape from routine and social networks, Daniel finds a mysterious book about lucid dreams. Very quickly, he can do incredible things, create fantastic worlds, and fly during sleep, until one day, his dreams fall under the power of something inexplicable — something terrible.

A fun little storytelling experience, w/ medium-difficulty QTE's. Pros: * Interesting storyline, good music. * Good price point for a short game. Cons: * Follows the proto-Luddite "you tried to do something cool, and now you must suffer" paradigm. Meh: * Sets up and completely finishes the premise - while leaving me hungry for more. TL;DR: If you like stories, and can handle moderate mouse-based QTEs, 9/10; else, avoid.2 found this helpful
Radiant One is a true gem in the indie gaming world. From the moment you start playing, the game captivates you with its enchanting atmosphere and beautiful hand-drawn art style. The puzzles are cleverly designed, providing a satisfying challenge that encourages creative thinking and exploration. One of the standout features is the game’s narrative. Radiant One weaves a heartfelt story that resonates with players, making them truly invested in the outcome. The characters are well-developed, and the world-building is impressive, drawing you into a magical universe that feels both familiar and entirely new. The soundtrack is another highlight, with its soothing and ethereal music that perfectly complements the game’s visuals and mood. It’s the kind of music that stays with you long after you’ve finished playing. Overall, Radiant One is a must-play for anyone who loves indie games with a focus on storytelling and beautiful aesthetics. It’s a game that not only entertains but also touches the soul, making it a memorable experience that you won’t soon forget.2 found this helpful
Disregarding the developer's reputation, even at the price of 99 cents, Radiant One is just not a good game. Playing on the Steam Deck with touch controls was tolerable but not comfortable. The gameplay is just clicking around a few rooms and about 10-15 QTEs. The story is extremely basic and shallow and clicking around for all additional dialogues is not really worth it because they don't add anything of value. I was curious about this game but there are many more fun things to do for an hour, skip it.1 found this helpful
Intense! Goosebumps! Rapid! That's was my journey within Daniel memories, self-awareness moment and warm conected times between reality and dreams (that's how he concludes about it. I call it nightmares, but no nightmare has continuation, when we become aware of controlling our emotions - when we fight the nightmare with our bare hands like Daniel. Interesting story, besides the fact of the length being small... I Recommend it.
A boring point and click game with QTEs.
Very good, but short
