About REAL WEB LEGENDS: Carter's Quest
The Story
The mysterious organization known only as "The Helix" is hatching a plan to capture an artifact of great power. The leader of Humanity is missing, presumed dead. The Elves are on the move, capturing territory once again. Tensions are high, all sides need a hero. The future of the planet Web lies in the balance.
Carter, a Human peasant from a remote village, is thrust into the center of a conspiracy to create the ultimate weapon: The Perfect Homunculus.

The Gameplay
Deep combat, inspired by the legends of the character action genre, strikes a delicate balance with exploration and puzzle-solving. Create your own Homunculus to serve as your faithful companion as you fight for your life against artificial machines, malformed creations of wizards long-deceased, and enemies of peace in the land of Web.

The World
Act 1, set in the Human province of Kaliere, takes Carter through the rebuilt Human capital. In the not-so-distant past, war once gripped these plains, and it threatens to do so once again. Learn the history of Humanity, complete side quests, solve puzzles, and walk away with rewards that unlock your true potential as a warrior.

REAL WEB LEGENDS: Carter's Quest is an Early Access action RPG developed and published by Goba that sets out to deliver an adventure inspired by classic fantasy epics while incorporating stylish, combo-driven combat. Combat serves as the heart of the experience, rewarding players who learn enemy attack patterns instead of relying on repetitive button mashing. Battles encourage the use of combos, aerial attacks, dodges, and carefully timed counters while allowing players to experiment with different approaches against increasingly dangerous opponents. Can't wait for the rest of the story ! So far it's only quite short (4hrs while exploring everything) but what it has gives me great hope for the future, it has a lot of great ideas that I haven't seen anywhere else and I'm sure act 2 will be just as good (if not better !) It's still a bit rough in some areas (especially the camera) but it doesn't impede on the enjoyment I had with it. I'd love more complex puzzles tho !1 found this helpful
One of the best Zelda-like, and it's only Act 1. I hope the next Acts are as good as the first, or even better
one of the best games ever made, period.
