I went into this game not knowing the story behind "red door, yellow door." I like the idea of the game and hope that more monsters make it into the game and that more death animations make it. I only did one playthrough but I will end up doing more to see more of the storyline. Also while the game is randomly generated, I would like to see more variety in rooms somehow. A couple of times I walked into identical rooms back to back. It wasn't make or break with the game being in early access I just want to give feedback. My playthrough of the game here for those interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92PH2egr-rQ

Super scary and really atmospheric! But seriously, pineapple pizza (😉) is the most gruesome thing ever. Whoever programmed that has no mercy. Totally recommend it!!! 💯

I played RDYD yesterday, althoug streaming it, to give live featback of my first impressions. It is a great game, to say it first. It´s a round bundle and I couldn´t find big bugs, only some minor optical glitches. But that is a very, very high critique. My featback as a player: I´d love to have more insight at the beginning. Who am I? What do I want to achieve? The lack of was interesting and I assume it is part of the story to find it out yourselves by playing. (english is not my mothers tounge, sorry if it´s lacking.) It wasn´t easy for me... to read what I was seeing. Is this a dream situation? Am I the psychiologist in the mind of the patient or am I the patient walking my own brain?... As a visual Artist, I have to say, the colours... they suited the game so very much. They were clear, but althoug toned down by the darkness and decay. The placed decorations and animations could be more and more detailed, but where enough. I only found that when I was looking for it. Some other details where amazing! (Still love the Posters) I encounterd only two monsters, but saw the third in a stream. I am a fan of the design from two of them. :) The Clown/Jester thing had the most effe…

Honestly surprised me. Though a lot of the monsters can be mitigated or even destroyed through your runs. I think it has a lot of aspects that create a truly enjoyable and replayable horror title. Randomly generated rooms and floors, with different, often multiple monsters after you creates a sense of unease with every floor you walk into. Some incredible moments were shared and I truly enjoyed this title. Can't wait to see how it develops through EA.
