✦ AI summary
Players overwhelmingly criticize this game as extremely low-effort and buggy, with minimal content that can be viewed in less than a minute, missing features like sound and language persistence, and movement glitches that trap the player. The game apparently aims to raise environmental awareness about ocean conservation, but this message is completely overshadowed by the poor execution and lack of any substantive gameplay experience.
This is trash. DO NO PLAY THIS The whole game can be seen in the 56 second trailer video. Just off screen in that trailer to the right is a wall It doesn't even remember language settings upon reboot. The text isn't even consistent. Lowest effort game I've played on Steam....or NewGrounds actually. Ironically, although this game has no substance, it still manages to have bugs. For example, you can walk into a little crevice and no longer be able to jump. There's no sound. There's nothing redeeming. Controls: wasd to move (and jump if not bugged) j to swing sword click bag to 'upgrade'103 found this helpful
Our oceans are a precious part of our planet, a thriving and bounteous blue cradle of life. Researchers estimate that the ocean may be home to 700,000 marine species, ranging from the microscopic plankton to the gigantic blue whale. Increasingly, ocean life is coming under threat from human activity – more than 1 million marine creatures die every year from plastic waste alone. This game is a warning from Reincarnation of Ocean which aims to raise awareness of these challenges and recommend evidence-based solutions that protect and restore the ocean and therefore support livelihoods.59 found this helpful
