Another Old Ass Curiosity found around in the Steamstore . It´s an anchient fast forgotten title for the Anchient allready forgotten 3DO Console with an not just ordenary theme , maybe its should better of rest in peace was allredy bit mold and rusty on release , but now when were here we want atleat take a look. if some consider to try this one out , i share my insight. This one is a more or less working set , not a Remake so what you want to do is simply start the gae from its main folder , setup "Glideconfig" to your fitting parameters there for you can consider to even download some more recent .DLL versions wich let you choose more siutable render in an updated version further setting "Commandline Parameter" for the startfile in Steam to your prefarred .EXE so you will be able to run from libray so track you ingame time and there you go . Some downs you cant avoid like the short blackscreen and resolution change ever you get to Mainmenue and the aspectratio wich is off a bit .Best bet is using the console and shortcuts to set a value on FOV and safe/quicksafe. The Game it self is mostly a Quake like shooter with a Blasphemus story wich does not get in effect that much , it´s …

Requiem: Avenging Angel, developed by Cyclone Studios and published by Ziggurat, is one of those late-1990s shooters that feels both ahead of its time and firmly rooted in it. It arrived during an era when first-person shooters were rapidly evolving, yet instead of following the established formula, it chose a stranger path—mixing religious mythology with futuristic weaponry and experimental mechanics. The result is a game that doesn’t always hold together perfectly, but remains memorable precisely because of how boldly it tries to be different. You step into the role of Malachi, an angel sent to Earth to stop a faction of renegade angels intent on manipulating humanity and bringing about destruction. This premise alone sets the tone for something unusual, blending biblical themes with a dystopian, near-future setting. The narrative itself is relatively straightforward, but the atmosphere it creates is distinctive. There’s a constant sense of tension between the sacred and the technological, with divine powers existing alongside guns, urban environments, and industrial complexes. It’s not a deeply philosophical story, but it has enough personality to give the game a unique identit…

(My playtime is much higher than this due to having to run an alternate exe that Steam was not tracking playtime for) This game is so so close to being amazing, and is pretty underrated in the boomer shooter landscape. The unique sci-fi biblical theme and aesthetics, the wide range of both combat and maneuvering powers (slow mo bullet time in 1999???) + the fantastic weapons and shooting gameplay make this fantastic in the action department. Many complain about the levels being confusing and complicated. Personally, I only got lost a couple times throughout the whole game but overall found every level to be easy to navigate around. My only true gripes with this game consist of the horrendous sound quality of certain sounds (voice lines, ambient sounds, which I know can be charming when lo-fi but this is just too much) and the fact that the current version being sold on Steam/GOG is just not a stable or easily running version of the game whatsoever. Make sure to keep quicksaving every few minutes, as this version loves to crash randomly. I also found myself getting stuck on some parts of the environment as well as getting temporarily softlocked from progressing in certain levels…

Very fun with super smooth gameplay, really hard boss fights, and a unique story.

Unplayable! Controls don't respond correctly and glitches a lot.
