Battle a robotic threat using a resonance-based blade in fast-paced, strategic combat that blends dashing, scanning, and switching energy types to exploit enemy weaknesses and solve puzzles. You play as Atlas, a soldier thrust into a critical mission to stop a robotic uprising that threatens all life. The mission quickly turns personal when your commanding officer is obliterated in front of your eyes. The devastation shakes the squad, and hope starts to dwindle among your fellow soldiers. In the midst of this chaos, your commander entrusts you with a powerful weapon, the titular blade that is the only tool capable of cutting through the robots’ nearly indestructible armor. Its unique edge lies in how it operates through resonance, a type of energy that vibrates on specific frequencies to breach robotic defenses. Resonant Blade is an Action Adventure Hack n Slash where you go against the uprising of the Dark Synths army and stop their plans to destroy your planet Terra. The game uses a color switching mechanism with your blade, where you have to match the same color of the enemy infront of you to deal the proper damage. It will require your quick reaction and fast thinking to get out of tight situations like enemy groups swarming against you. There are lots of puzzles in each screen throughout the biomes you will visit during your missions. the controls play very well except there are few minor bugs but nothing to stop your progress in the game. The dev is working hard non stop at fixing those issues. The retro soundtracks and music is a nostalgia with the cyberpunk and robots theme. It will give you an enjoyable gaming experience. The boss fights are super nice and strategic where you will need to use your fast color switching of the blade as well as quick reactions otherwise you can get overwhelmed very quickly. This is an amazing game made by a solo developer and needs more attention. Recommended for the fans of the genre. Overall Rating 10/104 found this helpful
