About ReThink 3.5
ReThink 3.5 is one of the first person puzzle games I made during the pandemic time, but could not release for a variety of reasons.
I rebuilt the game in Unreal Engine 5, so that all the content that was in the game will not be wasted and is accessible to those who want to play through it.
This also allows the game to utilize and benefit from all the other improvements that were made for the newer games, resulting in a better experience.
As the Name implies, the game fits between ReThink 3 and 4 in terms of how the puzzles are designed, but it also comes with its own unique feature that is not in the newer games (yet).
Content wise, there are more than 40 puzzles in the game, all built around the utilization of lasers and logic.
On the technical side of things, the game comes with improved performance over the previously released ReThink games.
Especially slower CPUs and Graphics cards should benefit from this*, while players with faster hardware also should see improved performance.
Graphically, the games peaceful setting looks great on highest settings, while still looking like the older games (ReThink 1-3) on lower settings - retaining its compatibility with older hardware. (In fact, the rebuilt game runs a lot better than the original one would have.)
*System requirements and the engines driver requirements still apply.

I thought when I reached the ripe old age of 76 my brain would be at least as good as it was when I was 20. This game proved I was wrong - the brain cells struggle :) This is the first time I have played a Rethink game but it won't be the last IF I can progress past A8. I managed to "bish, bash, bosh" my way through A1 - A7 then reality set in - this game is harder than anything I have played before - much harder than Boxes, The Room games and De Vinci games. Having said all that I LOVE IT :) I think I will have to at some point seek help from online videos etc . but at the moment I shall put my brain through it very old paces. John4 found this helpful
Another great game in this puzzle series with some good headscratchers, especially near the end. As usual, if you haven't tried out this series and love first person laser puzzles, you can't go wrong as every game in this series features a lot of fun brain teasers. Recommended as always!2 found this helpful
I love all the ReThink games and this newest edition is no exception. The puzzles are challenging but satisfying to finally solve. The addition of tracks that the colored crystals move on adds even more challenge to the puzzles. Keep up the great work and I hope to see many more ReThink games in future!1 found this helpful
