Early this morning of October 14th, 1807, the Obra Dinn drifted into port at Falmouth with damaged sails and no visible crew. As insurance investigator for the East India Company's London Office, dispatch immediately to Falmouth, find means to board the ship, and prepare an assessment of damages.

good gameplay and storytelling
Return of the Obra Dinn is one of the greatest puzzle experiences that I can recall. The attention to detail in the game's design is immaculate, and every puzzle felt reasonable. About my only complaint with the game is the art direction--while I do think it is very unique and interesting, it also comes with the drawback that many details become difficult to discern. Ultimately, this doesn't get in the way too much, but it is worth noting. If you want a good, quick puzzle game, Return of the Obra Dinn is a fantastic choice.
Whisky in the jar oh ohh oh
This is the kind of game that makes you realize that the rest of the industry is lacking creativity. Stunning work- the kind of thing that you add to your comparison list when thinking about whether a new game is "good" or not. One of those portal-esque games that takes a single concept and juices it for everything it's got.
