"Reverie Knights Tactics: Prologue" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Reverie Knights Tactics". Reverie Knights Tactics is a mediocre, surprisingly shallow 2.5D/isometric turn based tactical battler with a gimmick that requires you click around on the game artwork to find hidden bonuses... a little schizophrenic for a game concept. A lot about the product feels like it's either driven by accountants or just rushed to get a minimum product out due to deadlines or something. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Reverie Knights Tactics, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Reverie Knights Tactics: Prologue" too. The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to shell out a whopping $20 USD…2 found this helpful

Adorable game
I have mixed feelings about this game. In one hand, i loved the art style so much, including environment and animations in battles. The story looks very interesting and maybe the could be attractive, with different characters, each one with his own abilities. Besides I liked lthe chaos/order too, a system that increase in base of our actions/dialogues and the battles have interesting things like the objectives, so we dont get bored of fighting and try to be witty. In the other hand, that same systeam forces you to do those exact actions so you win more xp/coins, limiting your own skills. Even so i think is an interesting thing and could work well if they think about it a little more. As far as I concern I personally don't like very much the visual novel style, it does the game so lineal, without backtrack or any freedom. At least during this prologue. Even so I'm gonig to add it to my wish list, I can buy it in a sale, cause i really love the TBS/TRPGs. 4/10 Regards.
