Ridge Racer™ Unbounded

If someone criticizes a simple arcade game, Because it is NOT a simulator, then it seems that this is a problem of a person with a worldview. I think it is a simple fun game for relaxation. When I started it, I couldn't stop playing for Three hours. BUT... IF YOU SUDDENLY decide TO MAKE A MISTAKE and complete ALL THE CHALLENGES with three stars—GOOD LUCK... THIS IS "DARK SOULS ON FOUR WHEELS"......

If you're a Ridge Racer fan and looking for an actual "Ridge Racer" game, then this game isn't for you. But if you're a Burnout fan looking for a game with a similar formula to the Burnout series, then this game is probably for you. They shouldn't have put the "Ridge Racer" title on this game in the first place. Without the Ridge Racer title, this could actually be one of the good arcade racing games you can find on Steam. The only bad thing about this game is that you can't change your key configuration. You're forced to use the layout the game offers, and you can't rebind specific keys. Aside from that, everything is perfectly fine. The soundtrack is a banger tho.

It was like 2 dollars so pretty good game. It's just burnout put 2 dollars.

"The true competition has only begun" With the servers shut down, the competition is very much over. And there are achievements tied to that mode, so ♥♥♥♥ completionists, I guess. I've never played another Ridge Racer game, so my understanding is that the only reason this game doesn't have more praise is because it's such a departure from the traditional arcade racing of the franchise. I REALLY liked Ridge Racer Unbounded aside from Drift challenges being absolute ass cancer - it might actually be impossible to get 3-stars in them (I skipped the one in the final district because you can unlock the rest of the challenges by scoring really high in other ones, which is a merciful godsend). Unbounded satisfies that craving for vehicular destruction I've had since playing Burnout Paradise, and outside of other Burnout games there haven't been many good alternatives.
