About Robot Anomaly

You work at the CSP Robotics company. The night is quiet and your shift is about to end. But the robots have a different plan for tonight.

Inspect anomalous robots

Each floor may host an anomaly. Inspect every robot for rogue behavior or hardware modifications.

Leave the building

Immerse in a liminal atmosphere. The rooms seem to repeat with no end. You will feel alone and surrounded at the same time.

Scares, but not jumpscares

There may be some sudden movement, a shape could run out of sight. But nothing will jump to your face. But don't lower your guard. Some robots may resort to violence.

Play Time

50-90 minutes
  • Fail on the first 8 floors and progress will reset
  • Pass 8th floor and your progress will be locked
  • Go down to ground floor to unlock the anomaly museum
  • Go underground to unlock all the anomalies

I started with the demo and then got the full game. I enjoyed it! Some of the anomalies are so subtle, but some literally jump out at you. The scares got me good. I do wish there was more to the story but then I guess sometimes there are no actual storylines behind some anomaly games. If you're looking for some fun, enjoy looking for anomalies and want to relax (with a few good scares) then give this game a go. But if you're looking for a storyline like Cabin Inspection or the Doll one, this isn't that.

It was definitely worth it for the run-through, and had it's own unique twist to the anomaly game genre. Not sure if it was me or the game that got stuck at the very end, but like I said, it was very enjoyable, I cleared all but one single anomaly, and the game did not go out of the way to make the play through too difficult or impossible, Definitely recommend for anyone to give it a go! Here's some gameplay: https://youtube.com/live/LV_BrPaXmK0 -enjoy!

As part of the Hungry Ghost Festival 2025, I got handed the game to stream live on Twitch. It's a solid bite-sized game with no hitches. In a nutshell, it's a fun kind of experience in finding anomalies. After finding them, you have to disable them. So, it's little bit more involved and the gameplay is simple. For the price listed, it's definitely worth the 1-2 hour experience with some extra replay value for a perfect run and hidden achievements. That roomba man...

I’m quite disappointed because I played the demo and really enjoyed it. I saw potential in the game, BUT — 42 floors (18 up, 24 down) where you’re supposed to look for anomalies on robots. Even though the game mechanics partially change halfway through, it’s still boring after so many floors (that’s why anomaly games are usually short). Most of the time nothing happens; maybe 3 times you can get killed, but it doesn’t really matter, because it’s not scary and just restarts the level. In the demo, it seemed like the game built atmosphere quite well, but in the full game it didn’t work at all. The first floors are somewhat okay, but after that it’s just horror clichés — a corpse, a bloody puddle, blood from the walls. No, it’s not scary, not jumpscares, it’s just boring. The worst and biggest logical flaw, in my opinion, is the ending — the game description says “escape the building,” signs keep telling you that the whole time, but you end up on floor -24 in a room that says The End. I played it twice to make sure, but I really don’t understand the positive reviews.

So much fun! Took about an hour and a half to complete the main game.
