(I got the game while it was free) This feels like a student project abandoned after passing the semester. It was probably the best project in some grant by australian space agency, as their name is plastered in the credits. The problems start at the launch - it does not. Simple rename of an executable and a directory from 2025 to 2026 is enough to let it launch - yay. Next it pretends to be landing on the moon while already standing on the ground. Then there are some speech bubbles pretending to be funny, but just making things muddy. Then you must discover keybindings on your own - that is actually a nice touch, bringing me back to 1980s. While you learn on your own how to control the robot, you are thrown into construction mode and are given opportunity to completely destroy your robot (I guarantee you will not be able to modify it in any constructive way with all the clumsiness of the interface). Then you are given a chance to test it (but they don't tell you this, it just seems like you were teleported somewhere). If you somehow find a way to return to the main game, you find your robot in complete darkness with a mission to move around 3 checkpoints that actively try to ev…5 found this helpful
NOT GOOD.... Speech sounds like a kids made it on a speak and spell, no tutorial, rover gets stuck on everything all the time, also I know a kid age 10 that could make something better2 found this helpful
At this stage I cannot recommend this game. It's lacking a save system, but has checkpoints. If you close the game you have to restart. The voice acting volume needs serious work. Some characters are quiet, others are very loud. Some text displayed doesn't even have voice, and disappears almost as quickly as it appears. I had to take screenshots to read it. The controls are not explained anywhere, at least not from what I found. I ended up just having to mash every key on the keyboard to figure out how to use the rover arm. I really like the concept, and if the bugs can be worked out, I'd say this would be quite fun.1 found this helpful
Started this with a little hope to see if I could be hooked like when playing Blossom or Mine Mogul (or Last Caretaker, Star Rupture, Subnautica etc etc). Sorry but the voice acting is absolutely woeful, especially the 'computer system' voice - the woman sound like she wants to commit suicide and it's not good. I would like to give it a chance but I really can't be bothered listening to the crappy voice actors. I can't even bring myself to give it an hour or so to see if it gets better - I don't think it's going to :( FYI Rover controls are crap and I was constantly flipping it over :(1 found this helpful
