The Crust

Probably the best game in the Factorio and Satisfactory series. Yes, I realize that these three games are completely different in terms of gameplay, graphics, and optimization, but they’re all about building factories to create even more factories. But why is this one the best? (In my opinion.) Launching a rocket in Factorio seems like a pretty basic task; in Satisfactory, you supply the FICSYT corporation with resources; but here, you have to build your own lunar corporation and follow an interesting storyline—build a massive laser cannon, shoot down a meteorite, construct a huge spaceship, and send it to another solar system.‍

Factorio was good (I played it for about 300 hours), but they kept making it more and more complicated until I got tired of it. Satisfactory (I played it for about 20 hours) is just clunky. But The Crust is something else—the graphics are awesome, there are practically no bugs, the overview and ease of building are way better than in the games mentioned above, and the story campaign is cool, too. The gameplay is just a blast. It lacks enemies and some kind of combat system. Other than that, I’d give it a 15 out of 10 and recommend it to all fans of this genre.‍

For those familiar with Factorio or Satisfactory, the game will feel very similar in spirit. Please add the option to play cooperatively with friends!‍

I'm having a lot of fun with this. Sure there are little bugs and QoL issues that need addressed, but all in all, it scratches the itch. Soundtrack is a banger.

Excellent game. Highly recommend. Regular updates and fixes from Dev's since going to 1.0. Will be playing this game for a long long time.
