Horrible, horrible game. I accidentally confused it with the game SAMOROST, which turns out to be a great game. This one however has literally nothing to offer that's worth your pennies. The graphics are decent enough, but it lags and freeze regular, especially when you are fighting. The game play itself is not balanced and lacks any form of intelligence. A new game means you re-start the level, but keep your ammunition, painful if you have none! Oh and hitting escape, doesn't pause the game, it restarts! Not nice if you are close to the finish, but your sweet mom brought you some hot chocolate to enjoy. Who wouldn't want to drink that in peace, without hearing the annoying sound of those pins going up and down all the time? For achievement hunters, they (peevasseeq games) added the nasty little trick to unlock one achievement by starting the game, pressing on that sensitive point...no! Not that one...pervert! The point that makes you want to play the game for 100% achievements, even though it sucks!

SAMOSBOR 2D is a side-scrolling action platformer developed and published by peevasseeq games, built around run-and-gun combat, exploration inside a massive structure, and a survival-driven gameplay loop. At its core, the game places players inside a sprawling building filled with hostile creatures, environmental hazards, and scattered equipment. The premise is straightforward: navigate interconnected levels, gather increasingly powerful weapons, and survive relentless enemy encounters. While its concept aligns with classic 2D shooters, SAMOSBOR 2D attempts to expand beyond simple corridor combat by incorporating light puzzle elements and an additional survival mode. The main campaign revolves around progressing through rooms and floors of the enormous building, which functions almost like a labyrinth. Movement is handled in traditional 2D fashion—running, jumping, and firing across horizontal planes—while enemies approach from multiple angles. Combat emphasizes weapon variety, with a range of firearms and equipment to collect throughout exploration. Each weapon offers different firing patterns and damage output, encouraging players to experiment depending on enemy types and situa…

Don't expect to find a review of the game here. First level requires precision platforming/timing - I can't get past it (yet). Those stupid spikes insta-kill you just from touching the side of them (as with any old-school game I suppose... *sigh*). So I haven't even got to see what this game has to offer. Can't even play the survival mode without beating the first level. Looks like a cool game with the monsters that are shown off in the trailer, but I may never know. :(

Quite bland to be honest. Not worth paying for - lucky me I got it free.
