✦ AI summary

Sandy is a short 3D platformer with mixed reception that centers on its design polish and charm against frustrating execution issues. Players appreciate the cute aesthetic and well-designed enemies and traps, but consistently criticize imprecise controls, excessive character momentum, lack of tutorial or clear objectives, and confusing level layout that makes navigation and progression unclear. The final UFO segment and difficult bullet-dodging sections are particularly frustrating, with some players experiencing motion sickness and one-hit-death mechanics amplifying the frustration.

Pure AI slop. There were little to no instructions throughout the game, especially towards the end. The UFO final segment was a nauseating, confusing, motion-sickness-inducing nightmare with incomprehensible controls. The developer didn´t even bother in translating the last dialogue line. The game is also advertised as "controller only", though you could play with a keyboard and mouse just fine. The layout of the map is also extremely confusing to navigate. TLDR: overall, a janky unfun game.

Sandy is an interesting short game that takes about 30 minutes to complete. It is very nicely designed and features well-thought-out enemies and traps. I especially appreciate the overall design and smooth gameplay. I rate the game 9/10. If an expansion is released, I would gladly play it again.

It's a very short and confusing game. The only controls you have are jumping and some objects you can use Square (playstation controller) to move/push them around. Your character, Sandy, is very slippery, and there's a lot of momentum when you jump, so the platforming is not precise and can be frustrating. There is no explanation or tutorial, no story whatsoever. The layout of the room is very confusing and it's hard to tell where you're supposed to go or how to get there. Particularly in one section there are these 2 machines shooting NERF style "bullets" at you, but they shoot very fast, continuously. It probably took me like 20+ tries to get past without getting hit. Oh, btw, you die in one hit. I tried timing it, to run past the machines in between the shooting but it's impossible because they shoot so fast. I basically winged it and just kept running through until it worked. Seems like a huge oversight and unfair to the player, and I initially ragequit the game over this, but came back and finished it. Similarly at one point you have to jump across these darts on the wall, but because one of the darts is in the way, you can't make the final jump properly to reach the other pla…

Sandy is a cute little game where you run around as the doll: Sandy. It's a 3D platformer where you follow a trail and gather items around a bedroom. Be careful not to fall or get ♥♥♥♥ though! The graphics of the game are pretty decent for being a small game. There is no tutorial, but it does kind of tell you what you need to do as it goes on. The game is free and is worthy of a half hour-ish playthrough
