Information / Review English
Save Your Soul falls into the arcade platformer genre, developed by Torcular.
Gameplay / Story
In this adventure, we play a desolate soul who cannot find peace because something was left unfinished upon leaving this world. We find ourselves in the deepest darkness and are even exposed to dangers in the realm of the dead. Many dangers stand in our way, in the form of brutal obstacles such as traps. We don't know which world we are in or whether it is real or not. Every move could be the end of time, as dangers lurk everywhere and around every corner. We solve puzzles based on physics, but we must act carefully, as even a hiding place can pose dangers and then become an obstacle. If you fail, you have to start over.
Pros
+ Old-school physics + Arcade + Brain training + Appropriate graphic style + Well-integrated music + Good value for money
Cons
- Sometimes really difficult
Conclusion
Save Your Soul offers great physics elements that must be used carefully. If you liked physics in school and enjoy using it, you'll love this game.
[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/26335619-Adult…32 found this helpful
Save Your Soul is a harsh and unforgiving indie platformer that fully embraces the philosophy of old-school trial-and-error gameplay. Developed and published by Torcular, the game places players in control of a wandering ghost trapped inside a dark and dangerous world where nearly every obstacle is designed to punish mistakes immediately. From the beginning, the game establishes itself as an experience aimed at players who enjoy mechanical precision, difficult timing challenges, and the satisfaction that comes from overcoming repeated failure. It does not try to be welcoming or forgiving, and that uncompromising approach becomes both its greatest strength and its biggest weakness. The gameplay focuses almost entirely on precision platforming. Players must navigate through narrow passages, avoid spikes, dodge moving traps, and survive increasingly difficult obstacle sequences that demand careful movement and near-perfect timing. The controls feel tight and responsive, which is essential because the game gives very little margin for error. Even small mistakes can instantly result in death, forcing players to retry sections repeatedly until every jump and movement becomes second natu…
