This is a good game , sure it is simplistic , Cgs amount of CGs not very big and overall technical side is mid . However it still Ok , If is really made by high schoolers its pretty decent as first project. However english translation is ass. I also dont really know why authors changed Chinese names in english version to Lyra and Dreama , Not only in around 20% of text they still have chinese names which is super confusing. Ai backgrounds are ok , i dont mind it . As long as MCs are drawn better i think its ok , especially if you dont have enough resources its better to invest everything in character art and CGs. Overall its decent for small yuri game.

Serene Night Dreamlight is a really gentle little visual novel about two high school girls slowly getting closer through everyday life. I follow Dreama, an anime obsessed girl who is constantly trying to balance homework, school and her own little interests, and her life changes after she meets Lyra while chasing a limited edition poster. From there, the story is mostly about the two of them getting to know each other through things like working in the library, rainy afternoons, school problems and eventually dealing with their feelings. It is a very simple setup, but I like how much of the game is built around small everyday moments rather than some huge dramatic story. What I like most is the relationship between Dreama and Lyra. They are different enough that their conversations do not feel like I am watching the same personality talk to itself, and the story has a nice slow build to their relationship. I get little moments that make them feel like actual students rather than characters who exist only to move the romance forward. Things like getting in trouble for not memorising vocabulary, playing Gomoku during self study and awkward moments around the library give the story a…
