About Shy Girl's Makeover

Kenta Nakajima is an ordinary college student, a calm and quiet person who doesn’t stand out in class but has one close friend: Ayaka Minami.
Ayaka’s personality is much like his own. Just like him, she is calm and shy – and she shares his hobby playing video games.
Thanks to their shared hobby, the two grow ever closer together. Kenta is even able to change classes and be with Ayaka during college hours. Together, they spend happy days as gaming friends, though neither of them is able to cross the line and confess their true feelings for each other.
One day, the happy couple is greeted by a familiar, cheerful voice: Shou Igarashi, a popular sports student, approaches Ayaka with the intent to get closer to her.
Three students and one love: The beginning of a new path in life for Kenta and Ayaka.

- Play as Kenta and experience life at college as well as outside of it. Decide his actions during the day, spend time together with Ayaka during lunchtime at college or talk to other students to hear about the latest rumors.
- Social media: Kenta can follow an account known for rather scandalous posts about other students. It might be wise to see if they’re posting something about Ayaka…
- Two perspectives: While the story is primarily told from Kenta’s perspective, events can also be experienced from Ayaka’s point of view by interacting with the TV in Kenta’s room, or alternatively by unlocking and entering the reminiscence room.

- A blend of RPG and Visual Novel: Kenta’s parts include making decisions on daily actions while Ayaka’s side is told in the style of a visual novel.
- Difficulty Setting: You can choose between four different difficulties that range all the way from offering a relaxing experience to a hard challenge. You can also toggle an option giving you hints about Ayaka’s current location.
- Multiple Endings: The outcome of the story depends entirely on the player’s choices and actions.

If NTR is your thing, stop reading my review because the game is for you NSFW review since it's for adults who use the restoration patch Uncensored (no mosaic) I brought the game assuming it would be similar to "Leanna's Slice of Life", with MC having a hidden personality where she has fun in secret, but no, it's about a shy but cute girl becoming one of those "easy women" in a nutshell... (warning, I'm comparing the 2 games for a bit) -you don't control the girl (will call her fMC) but 100% time the male MC (mMC from now) who doesn't even spy but, via a TV, you (not the game's mMC) can see the girl's perspective, with 0 control - it's always the same 1 NPC rival, so if you can't stand him, good luck enjoying their conversation until you get far she will do it with others due to the H events - The sex scenes are ok (though this might just be my preference), no voice and no animation, her main charm is overly large breasts - gameplay? going through city? No, just in school where you ether ignore her and go home or RUUUUUSHHHH to find her randomly through the school. And when you speak to her, you must quickly choose an answer. I absolutely do NOT understand how this gameplay is f…17 found this helpful
I definitely like art style of CG and sprites in this game. The game offers 4 difficulties to choose from and they matter a lot, last one very hard especially for the first playthrough. The main part of the gameplay is searching for Ayaka throughout the school and you need to find her faster than the other guy. I recommended to buying "Current location Search Function" as fast as you can, this OP item which one help a lot and make game easier. To farm shop points you need to find NPCs with purple dialogue text and interact with them, but this will take time so do it after talking to Ayaka. P.S. Game can be completed on one of the Endings without any NTR at all.11 found this helpful
At first I was going to give this game a thumbs up because it barely earned it, but after a bit of thought I changed my mind for two reasons: gameplay and the MC. I think I would actually like this game if it weren't for those two things honestly. Gameplay is tedious. Like you're on a timer to stop your rival from interacting with the girl tedious, and sometimes even if you choose the earliest time to go intervene it doesn't matter you won't make it there in time. Honestly, I could probably deal with the gameplay being an issue if it weren't for the other problem. I hate the MC. He is a walking red flag for any girl. He is by no means a man worthy of having a quality woman. From my perspective, it makes it a bit easier to detach from the MC and enjoy the h-scenes as just a girl discovering an intense joy for sex, however, the MC ticks me off enough to ruin my enjoyment of the game's spicy aspects. He is that weak kind of person that would ultimately end up being cheated on if he ever ended up with a girlfriend IRL. Now, I actually like the rival, Shou, and I actually like Ayaka. Even though Shou definitely has ulterior motives, he has quite a bit of charisma as a character. If I…8 found this helpful

Very little plot and action. It s not a VN, more of a dull idle grind RPG-maker slide show. Really boring, do not waste money, even with 90% discount. Also the NTR here is plain bad.
Shy Girl’s Makeover is a narrative-focused indie RPG developed and published by Seiheiki Times that blends slice-of-life storytelling with light role-playing and dating simulation elements. Set within a contemporary college environment, the game centers on Kenta Nakajima, an introverted student whose quiet routine revolves around his friendship with Ayaka Minami, an equally shy classmate who shares his love of gaming. What begins as a simple portrayal of everyday campus life gradually evolves into a story about emotional vulnerability, jealousy, and the uncertainty of young romance when an outgoing rival begins to enter the picture. The core strength of Shy Girl’s Makeover lies in its emphasis on character interaction. Rather than prioritizing combat or complex mechanics, the game unfolds through dialogue, exploration, and player-driven decisions. Each day presents opportunities to choose how Kenta spends his time—whether engaging directly with Ayaka, interacting with other students, or uncovering social dynamics through in-game communication systems. These choices shape relationship values and influence how events unfold, guiding the story toward multiple possible endings. The br…
