"Pixel Happy Game Girls" is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. Just when we thought e-books couldn't get any more cringe, the e-book fan-fiction writing community that keeps on plaguing Steam with cringe doubles down. Here, we have an e-book all about the authors harem of imaginary anime girlfriends, all of whom work as game developers (making actual games and not crap e-books). Imagine having such low self-esteem as an author that when you write your high school anime club dropout fan-fiction about your imaginary girlfriends, they're all better at making games (and knowing what a game actually is) than you are. This is similar to my first game. I didn't have pictures though. I really like the art style, its not too flashy and wholesome for an anime. I wanna play Robotopia. The skip button made me chuckle.

very short game. not by any means a masterpiece, but thats why i like it. its a good filler with nice art/soundtrack and a somewhat funny story you can just sit back and have fun with. dont come in expecting the next katawa shoujo or steins gate.
