About Simulation 9

You wake up in an endless hallway with no memory of anything. A voice calls out to you and explains that after your death, your mind was placed into a computer simulation. Unfortunately, bugs are starting to appear, and you’ll have to report them to fix the simulation.
The rules are simple:Observe and memorize your surroundings. If you find an anomaly, turn back. Otherwise, keep going. Each correct choice takes you to the next floor. If you fail, you return to the starting point.
Reach the 9th floor to fix the simulation and escape.

But is it really that simple?

Should you really believe everything a stranger tells you? What secrets does the simulation hide?

Answer these questions by playing Simulation 9.

What a wild ride indeed. This game starts like any other Exit 8-like anomaly game, and the first hour of the game is pretty much exactly that (besides some intriguing story elements mixed in), but later the game shifts completely towards liminal space, backrooms, and even survival horror elements. While screenshots gave a hint that this is a bit more than your regular anomaly game, the extend of deviating from this recipe came entirely unexpected. Absolutely worthwhile playing! There is some aspects where I would consider the game still a slightly bit "rough around the edges", mostly when it comes to making clearer what I am supposed to be doing (especially in the liminal space sections), and also giving clearer visual clues for finding (or rather seeing) the required items. E.g., it took me forever to get that stupid "key", mostly because I entirely missed the first path towards the camera..., and even when I did, I missed to pick it up because I someone thought the camcorder was meant and rushed back (it wasn't xD). I also struggled a bit with detecting some anomalies, they are sometimes really hard to spot. From a technical perrspective, the game ran smoothly and without …

This game has so much potential! It's a bit rough around the edges but the dev is working hard on it, and once you go the "right" direction with it as a player you start discovering an actual beast. Highly recommended if you like anomaly games and/or backrooms experiences!

Fully Honest REVIEW 10/10 PHENOMINAL GAME. This game kept me on my toes and scared me a good couple of times! It has a ton of content! I played for 4 hours and didn't even realize it, i was having so much fun. It makes you use your brain in a good way! It made me paranoid and second guessing myself!!! I thought i was going crazy lol. I honestly truly enjoyed the experience and look forward to games by this dev. You wont regret playing it!

I've played a few anomaly games and this game isn't doing it in a way that feels fun. The premise and the anomalies that you actually discover are good but there must be some very small details in some anomalies that are ridiculously small and difficult to see, because I'm good at finding details and my progress was often reset when I thought I didn't see anything. I think this is quite normal for a game like this but it only feels frustrating after awhile. I appreciate the effort with this game, because it tries to do its own thing, but the amount of time and effort required from the player isn't worth it in my opinion. You have to make the anomalies a little more obvious than a cup in a vending machine.
