Sleeping Dragon

Its ok. The game has a lot of potential, but it lacks direction. I never really knew what I was supposed to be doing. Also, I thought the game was a single level because upon level completion I was told "thanks for playing" and brought to the main menu. It took me a while to find the level select screen and find subsequent levels. It really needs some brushing up, but will be a solid puzzle platformer if some helpful adjustments are made.

Short platformer with simple mechanics and collectible objectives, but only eight small stages of content make the high price hard to justify. The beginning does not reveal much. You take control of a kid who has somehow ended up in a dreamlike realm. A friendly bird explains that the world is ruled by a master, but before you can meet him and find a way out, you must recover several of master’s memories. You start in a castle where the basic moves are introduced. Since the kid is a platforming hero, the main ability is jumping. Pressing the button twice and holding it activates a paraglide that lets you descend slowly or catch wind currents to reach higher areas. The jump is also paired with a run that helps you gain extra distance when crossing gaps or dealing with timed switches. You can also crouch and roll, which is mainly used to break wooden objects. The game is divided into several small diorama like stages where you have to complete a number of tasks. The main objective is to find a memory, which can sometimes be reached immediately through simple platforming.
