This is an incredibly fun 2d fighter that I honestly love everytging about. Originally a 1999 crossover fighting game for the Neo Geo Pocket Color, it still holds up even now as an amazing game. I was 7 when thus came out, and i would have loved this! Capcom vs snk 2 was one of my favorite figting games ever and this would have paired nice as a hand version. So lets just break down why its so good. Great selection of characters. Move set and fighting feels great and definitely works well with the 2 buttons the neo geo pocket color had. Music is awesome. The dialogue is one of the best I've seen in a fighting game. I mean I literally laughed out loud several times reading it. And even the graphics were great for its time. Im not sure how much they amplified them for this launch, and i haven't played anytging else for the neo geo pocket, but compared to gameboy color games from this era, this game both looks and sounds great, and still holds up today. Overall I give this one an honest solid 10/10 for what it is.3 found this helpful

This is just pure nostalgia! SNK vs. Capcom: The Match of the Millennium is now on PC and Nintendo Switch! This game was stuck on the Neo Geo Pocket Color for 22 years! Players wanted this to be on other platforms! And now, their dreams have finally come true!
It's a lovely game.
This is a fighting game with surprisingly versatile and balanced combat for having to deal with the NGPC's limitation of two-button inputs. Even just combing through the single-player content is satisfying, as getting all of the achievements in this game feels pretty nice. If you want to give it a try, give it a try. You'll obviously be able to tell within two hours whether or not you enjoy this one and want to keep it.
